Menopause Support for All Women
As a health coach I focus on health issues surrounding the Menopause. My own less-than-straightforward menopause journey has given me great understanding and sympathy for women experiencing adverse symptoms during the menopausal transition. The changes taking place in a woman’s body at this time predispose her to emotional, mental and physical symptoms, which may leave her bewildered. Women’s experience of “the Change” varies greatly, but for most it is a time of upheaval in their lives during which they would benefit from emotional support, along with diet and lifestyle advice. Issues left unaddressed can impact relationships, careers, physical and mental health. My mission is to ensure that women seeking help get the support they need and the tools to manage their health successfully.
A government report on the Menopause, published July 2017, stated:
‘Menopausal women are the fastest growing workforce demographic”.
However, there are still low levels of awareness surrounding the Menopause in the workplace. Those in supporting roles need to be aware of the human and business impact of the Menopause. Through training, organisations can improve staff health and morale and increase productivity.
